This new artwork has gone up in Manchester Street. By Ash Keating, it’s called ‘Concrete Propositions’, and was created by throwing, spraying, and firing paint at a concrete wall which has been revealed by nearby demolition. It can be clearly seen as you come along Gloucester Street from the east.
“It’s brightly coloured, full of fire.
Just what our damaged streets require.”
What a vibrant and contrasting wall against all the grey and demolition. I think I could enjoy throwing and firing paint at a blank wall outdoors…..:-)

Unfortunately I don’t think your photo gives it justice as to the size of this. Seeing it from Manchester Street gives you that ‘Wow’ factor.
It can be approached from driving along Gloucester Street or Manchester Street is now open from Bealey Ave to Worcester Street.

David, I came at it from the west along Gloucester, and it wasn’t until the next day that I realized how much it stands out from the east.
OG – it looks as though someone enjoyed doing it, doesn’t it?
