This is another mural by Daek William.
124 Peterborough Street
It’s on the corner of Colombo and Peterborough Streets, and looks spectacular on the black background. This is one of the more than forty officially sanctioned large murals that have been painted in central Christchurch and Sydenham since early December. I’ve photographed less than half of these.

This mural by Australian artist Daek William is on Durham Street by the corner of St Asaph Street. It’s another work commissioned by the RISE festival.

I love all the birds, although I’m not sure that a humming bird is appropriate for New Zealand, and I don’t think they have them in Australia?
