The money’s not the problem now
my Super’s paid in regu’ly
the pantry’s well-stocked – full of chow
and fibre links both you and me
I’ve books and podcasts, Netflix too
to entertain as home I stay
such folk as Maya Angelou
whose birthday chanced to be today
A stroke of luck, my daughter’s here
marooned because of Covid’s rise
but her trip home’s now looming near
next week she plans to fly the skies
My other half supportively
cooks tasty meals and gives a cuddle
along with feline Ziggy, he
will stay supportive in my bubble

Great creativity Ruth. You will be sorry to see your daughter return to U.K. I hope her travel plans work out for her.

We all have our fingers crossed and will just have to wait and see. It’s strange that my NZ-born daughter is now a foreign national waiting to be repatriated.

This is so cutesy and fun, and I love it a lot. Hope you’re keeping well, Ruth!

Thank you. We are all well so far, and have just had a visit (at two metres distance) from another neighbour checking that we’re okay.
