Someone has carved this face into the sandy cliff at Waimairi Brach.
“Who’s represented no-one knows
but this face has a bulbous nose.”

Bulbous is a great word. Last week I was reading a description of Hans Christian Andersen. The writer described Andersen’s nose as capacious. That made me smile.
