Coriander’s restaurant is now open in St Asaph Street, in a lovely new Regency Colonial style building. We haven’t been there for a meal yet. (Himalayas is still our favourite local Indian restaurant.) However when I passed by I couldn’t resist snapping a photo of the bright attractive murals they have on their verandah.

Shades of Rousseau? Must be nice to see a new restaurant opening. I like the name.

They actually have two other restaurants in Canterbury and one in Hanmer Springs – obvioulsy they’re popular.

Good to be back in touch. They remind me, just a little of the images on the walls in iran done by the Safavids in the 17th century which are more ornate, but colourful
