Every second Wednesday evening a group of people meet in the central city to participate in the Dances of Universal Peace. Originating from the Sufi tradition these now encompass words and phrases from many different religions. We dance, sing, and pray together, always focussed on peace and wellbeing for all life. The dances are a joyful multicultural way to touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and others. They are simple and meditative, and no previous experience is needed. Would you care to join us?
“Come on, why don’t you take the chance
to be part of this sacred dance?”
This is something you have done for many years Ruth. good to hear you continuing this meditative process

Juliet, you were the person who first introduced me to these dances, and I’ve enjoyed them since, whenever there’s been a group available.

They sound wonderful dances to be involved in. I have an old High School colleague who organises Sufi retreats in California. She was always a very good dancer so I imagine she will dance for peace too.
