Thank goodness I have the VolCan systems on a separate computer. This means I can shut it down and knock off work at the end of the day. Then I take a short walk in the fresh air, just to prove to myself that I’ve stopped working. The ducks on the deserted part of Oxford Terrace have covered the footpath with their deposits, and they all come waddling towards me. I think they’re missing the people who usually feed them, but they’re not starving.
This afternoon Iwas amazed to find the fence that cut Oxford Terrace off from Kilmore Street had gone! This meant I could walk a few yards further, as far as the crystal shop, where there are coloured rocks strewn all over the floor. Just a few more yards of freedom seems like a lot at the moment.

I'd love to get your thoughts about this post.
