Avon Loop – inside the Christchurch cordon

So sad to see many houses with red stickers as we ventured further round the Loop on Saturday.  The Holiday Inn on Avon has a red sticker:

Oxford Terrace is ruptured again.  The ruptures seem to follow the line of the water pipes under the road.

Orion men were working to restore power by the intersection with Bangor Street,

Further round there was water gushing from broken mains.  From across the river, we could see why the Fitzgerald Avenue Bridge needs to be closed.
