Mona Vale is a good place for a wedding. This week’s ceremony was held on the lawn in front of the historic homestead. As I arrived I met a group of people in Victorian dress. They were the cast of ‘The Taming of the Shrew’ who’d just had their dress rehearsal.
The river made a lovely backdrop. While we were waiting the Red Checkers flew over, having done a flypast for the end of the Coast to Coast race.
The bridal party arrived by punt, and a few ducks joined the gathered guests.
“It’s a romantic place to wed
they even have a carpet, red.”
