Have you read any of Diana Gabaldon’s ‘Outlander’ series? I’ve found her tales of love and adventure in differing time zones captivating, and this book adds to them. It contains four novellas each of which is connected to some part of the series, tying up a loose end or giving background to the characters. It seems the author had some bits left over from the main books and this is her way of using them up. If you haven’t read the series I strongly suggest you do, because they’re good, and the background knowledge will enhance your reading of this volume.
