Just as well I’d checked with MetroInfo where the bus stopped, because there was no sign at the top of the pole to indicate this.
Only the blue timetable box showed that a bus was expected, but not for 15 minutes. Mindful of my need for exercise, I walked several blocks to the next stop, and the bus soon showed up. There are many bus stops no longer in use. Why don’t they could recycle the signs from those to places where signs are missing? It must be confusing for people who are strangers here.
“I could have been caught on the hop
not knowing where the bus would stop.”

too easy to take it away. put it in the newspaper they may act on that!
That’s a good idea, Adele. I just might write to the ‘Press’.
Travellers could well end up in a tizzie Ruth. Organisations often need a prod to get things sorted satisfactorily.
I plan to go to a meeting on inner city transport this week, and hope I’ll have a chance to mention this bus stop.
