The wonderful Gap Filler volunteers are creating a new golf course:
“The aim is a fun, whacky urban golf course that will encourage people to come back into the city, to experience it in a new way. We hope people will ride or walk from hole to hole whatever and wherever they may be! Each hole will have information about who made it and what used to be on the vacant site so that people will also be able to remember what was on the site, until recently.”
One hole is on “our” corner, behind the book fridge. Putters are available onsite, or from Foley Towers, two doors west down Kilmore Street.
“Now here’s your chance to play a shot
upon this mini golfing lot.”

Again, an innovative response! And a bit of fun too.
More creativity and enterprise from Christchurch. It’s so encouraging.
The inspiring creativity goes on and on.
Have you tried it yet Ruth? It is a great idea. As a family we have always enjoyed mini-golf.
I like min-golf too, OG, but haven’t tried this one yet.
