I was amazed when I unlocked the shed to find Bentley happily sleeping in a crate there.
When we first moved into the Cottage we were worried that a cat might accidentally get locked in the shed, and so we arranged to have a cat door installed. However, the man who did this put it much higher up than we’d intended, none of our cats ever used it, and we’ve always checked carefully before we locked the door.
Bentley has found the cat door all by himself and decided that the pink crate (which has an old mat inside) is just the place to snooze on a warm afternoon. He’s a big brainy cat (we just hope he can find his way out again – haven’t seen that yet).
“Bentley’s a cat of giant brain
just hope he can get out again.”

What a clever cat, and what a perfect ‘nest’ was waiting for him. The pink crate is so photogenic.
Bentley’s pretty photogenic too.
Jazz sends warm purrs to his “box” loving fur friend Bentley.
Thank you Jazz – I hope you’re keeping cool.
