This trampoline appeared today beside the fire fighters’ memorial and the Madras Street Bridge.
I wondered whether some people might have thought if they bounced high they’d get a better view of the implosion. Do you know where it came from?

When the gales blow strongly in Wellington we can see trampolines in some quite remarkable places. I hope this one did not fly off a truck. They can really fly through the air and do some harm.
A commenter on Moata’s blog said they’d seen it previously in Salisbury Street, a block away. Presumably someone, or someones, carried it down to Kilmore Street. It may have come from any of the abandoned properties around our area.
