Cartoon Cat from Planet Germany kindly nominated me for a Versatile Blogger Award – thank you, Cat!
This is a project of WordPress, intended to encourage blogging. It seems to be directing new people to my blog, but I find it difficult to understand just what it’s all about. I thought I might nominate another blog, which is suggested, but I couldn’t see how to do that. Perhaps it’s just that I’m technologically challenged. Wordpress suggest that you list fifteen other blogs that inspire you, but I don’t read 15 other blogs. There are just 11 listed on my Sister Sites (aka blogroll), and I may be adrift in the blogosphere.
“It’s hard for me to find just what
it’s all about. P’r'ap’s I’m a clot?”

I have had a look at the comments on the versatile blogger site and you are certainly not alone in having difficulties. I think it is very unclear – some people have listed their thanks and nominations as comments which I think is fine.
On recommending 15 blogs – well – most people have lives to lead!
Thanks, Rosemary. It’s good to have your affirmation that it’s not just me.
I think the point of linking to other blogs in a post is that it will increase your visibility to readers and search engines and help get you more new readers. By listing other blogs, you have de facto nominated them.
Ah – I wish they’d made that clear on the site.
