It was very pretty, but lasted only a few minutes. If I hadn’t gone out to collect the wheelie bins I might have missed it.

I like the stark outlines of tree and building against the soft coloured sky. Nice photo Ruth.
My office in mid-winter gets the sun rising directly through our windows and as i sit with my morning coffee, wakin gup and getting my mind into work gear, when the sky is clear, it pours in orangy-pink before it rises out of sight.

Carol, It’s good to think of you enjoying the sunrise from your office window, even though it sounds as though you’re at work too early.
What time was that? I didn’t notice it this morning. I’m still waiting for the sleet! It’s been a much better day than I expected.
