I like this Duck Prayer which is inscribed at an entrance to the Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden in Hong Kong.
“The duck has just a simple need

What a lovely Duck Prayer. There is plenty of rain and water here now for them Ruth.
My Dad used to sing “Be kind to your web-footed friends,
For the duck may be somebody’s mother”
The ducks will be praying right now with it being duck shooting season. Many do know where to seek protection from the guns.
OG, I remember that song too. When I went to take the photo yesterday I had to walk a little way to find any ducks. I think they’re missing the tourists who used to feed them frequently around this area.
