We went to the first of this year’s Lazy Sunday concerts on the Archery Lawn of the Botanic Gardens.
The artist was Graham Wardrop. He’s a skillful musician who builds his own guitars, writes his own songs, and also plays and sings tunes from the sixties. The setting was beautiful, the weather warm, and the entertainment superb.
Several couples got up and danced, and a new Latin American influence was very noticeable. One of Graham’s songs was titled 42GOD, with the hookline Go Out Dancing. I’m sure we’d all benefit from dancing more and I’m delighted that my Dances of Universal Peace group has just been revived.

Look through them – interesting view of CHCH on 22.2 from a visitor.
What a wonderful treat for you Ruth. You deserve pleasant evenings in the warm with great music.
I was there too! I can almost see the back of my head straight ahead. Wasn’t he great?
